A bin used for experiments with an underwater microphone enclosure. At one end, a speaker was sealed into an acrylic housing with silicone and driven by an audio amplifier. The large clear acrylic cylinder was intended to hold the microphone. The many bolts made access tedious and introduced numerous possible leak paths; for a redesign, I would explore clamping collars around the ends.

Another view of the clear acrylic enclosure intended for the underwater microphone. Working with this bolted assembly made me interested in a simpler end-clamping arrangement that would be easier to open and reseal.

An underwater transducer and its supporting test equipment. I used it as a sound source when testing underwater microphones.
